NAMMA Conference 2027
Date: June 1–3, 2027
Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Introduction: Seafarers’ welfare organizations continue to demonstrate remarkable adaptability in responding to the evolving challenges facing seafarers and the maritime industry. NAMMA’s 2027 conference, held from June 1–3 in Montreal, Quebec, will bring together maritime ministry leaders, chaplains, ship visitors, welfare professionals, and partners from across North America and around the world. The conference will provide opportunities for professional development, networking, sharing best practices, and strengthening cooperation in support of seafarers. Over 125 delegates are expected, with a warm welcome extended to partners from the broader maritime community.
Our local partners for this event include representatives of the Montreal seafarers’ welfare community, including the Ministry to Seafarers in Montreal. Montreal is one of North America’s most important maritime gateways, connecting the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River system with international shipping routes. Local seafarers’ welfare organizations have a long history of providing hospitality, practical assistance, and pastoral care to crews visiting the Port of Montreal.
